10K Race

Our 10k road race is famous in East Northamptonshire. The course is fully marshalled and has water stations at various points around the course. The 10k race has first aid coverage of the full course.

 

2K Race

Our 2K race is a junior race for runners from the age of 8 years up to and under 15 years old. The course used is a part of the 10K route and is also well marshalled and has first aid cover.

 

About Stanwick Village Races

A stalwart team of Stanwick village volunteers gets together each year to arrange our Easter Monday 10k and 2k races and we are proud of the hard work that goes into putting our events together. All proceeds from the races go to local charities and community groups.

Our 10k race is marshalled, organised and adjudicated according to official UKA rules, but our events are designed as much for the community as they are for runners, our village comes together to create a great day’s entertainment which is great for all the family, runners and supporters!

Stanwick Race Group

Stanwick Race Group consists of a group of volunteers, mainly from our village. The group meets regularly throughout the year to plan the annual Stanwick Easter Races. 

The Stanwick Village Races are a major annual event for our village, and a warm welcome to all athletes is assured.

The whole village is involved in the organisation and preparation, with local people manning the Car Parks and providing friendly and encouraging marshalling, apart from all the other tasks involved in organising a successful Race Day.

Course Description: 10Km single loop. Gently undulating. Tarmac country and village roads. Start/ finish at same location NN9 6QA. 

Parking: Designated car park (300 capacity. cloud. beauty. standards ) 440mtrs from start/finish. NO on street parking.

Race Number Collection: From registration desk. Race HQ on day of race (April 21st 2024)

Event HQ and Registration opening: Race HQ in village hall (100mtrs from start/finish line) Registration open 07.30 hrs

Race Start Time: 09.00 hours

Race Start and Finish (W3W): ///seeing.polar.published (Village centre) 

Water Point: Multiple - located at 5KM. - 7KM - 9KM

Bag drop: Located in the Duke of Wellington Pub. 75 mtrs from Start/Finish

Refreshments: Stanwick Village Hall (Race HQ) bacon rolls etc. and Duke of Wellington PH (open from 08.00 hrs)

Toilets: Village hall. Duke of Wellington. Stand alone ladies/Gents toilets located 100Mtrs from start/finish

Stanwick Races Group. Non-profit organisation raising funds in support of Stanwick events.

Refund/Deferment/Exchange Policy: No refunds available. Exchange on race day only by arrangement with the organisers.

Closing Date: 12 Noon. Saturday 18th March 2025 or Declaration of 'Race full' whichever is the sooner.
