The Cambridgeshire Cross Country Championships return to Priory Park, St Neots, on Sunday 11 January 2026. The event offers a full county championship programme for juniors, seniors and masters, with individual and team medals across all age groups. Races are run under UK Athletics rules.
The Championships will benefit from chip timing with results recorded from "Gun time". There will also be enhanced first aid cover to comply with new England Athletics guidance. These new features come at a cost and our entry fees have had to reflect those costs.

Entries: Online only via Sublime Entries
Entry fee: £10.00 per athlete (Unattached seniors and veterans must also pay the £2 England Athletics levy or their entries will be void)
Entries open: 20 October 2025
Closing date: Midnight on 22 December 2025. No late entries and no entries on the day
The championships are limited to Cambridgeshire athletes eligible by birth, residence, or armed forces.
Athletes whose first claim club is outside the county but who qualify by birth or residence may enter and score for their second claim club if it is affiliated in Cambridgeshire.
Athletes may not compete in, or represent, more than one county during the competition year.
Club or school vests must be worn, and numbers displayed clearly on the front. Incorrect kit may lead to disqualification.
All entrants are deemed to have read and accepted the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping.
Under 11: Must be aged 8, 9 or 10 on 31 August 2025
Under 13: Aged 11 or 12 on 31 August 2025
All other junior age groups: Age on 31 August 2025
Masters: 35, 45, 55, 65 & 75. Age on the day of competition
County medals for the first three individuals and the first three teams in each age group (including Under 11).
Clubs must be affiliated to Cambridgeshire AA for team eligibility.
Scoring:
Senior Men: six to score (team can consist of U20s, Seniors and Masters)
Senior Women: three to score (team can consist of U20s, Seniors and Masters)
All other age groups: three to score
B teams are allowed where numbers permit.
Masters teams may include any veteran categories.
Numbers will be issued to club representatives at registration on the day.
First aid will be available.
Changing facilities are at Priory Park Pavilion.
Parking: Please use Almond Road (PE19 1DZ) and designated areas only. Do not park in nearby housing estates. Additional parking is available at Longsands School.

10.10: Under 11 Girls – 1.7 km
10.20: Under 13 Boys – 2.9 km
10.35: Under 13 Girls – 2.9 km
10.45: Under 15 Girls – 4.3 km
11.10: Senior Men, Under 20 Men, Masters Men – 10 km
12.05: Senior Women, Under 20 Women, Masters Women, Under 17 Men – 5.8 km
12.40: Under 15 Boys and Under 17 Women – 4.8 km
The County Championships will be the main basis for team selection.
There can be 8 athletes in each age group/gender team (9 for seniors).
For U13, U15, and U17 age groups, the first 6 finishers at the Championships are guaranteed selection. Remaining team members will be chosen from 7th/8th finishers and athletes with valid reasons for absence.
U20s competing at the Championships will be strongly considered, but must be of a suitable standard for Inter Counties level. U20s not competing at the Championships may also be considered if places are available.
Seniors will be selected using the same approach as U13–U17.
All participants, athletes and support personnel are bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules, which apply for 12 months from the date of entry, regardless of nationality or residence.
