The Heckington 10 Mile Road Race, affectionately known as the "Heckington 10," stands as a testament to the rich tradition of road racing in the East Midlands. Established in 1965, it proudly holds the title of the oldest road race in the region.

This historic race is a key element of the annual Heckington Show, the largest village show in England, offering participants a unique blend of competitive racing and vibrant community festivities.

Given the event's popularity and limited spots, early registration is highly recommended to secure your place. 

Race entry includes admission to the Heckington Show.

Course
The race starts and finishes within the Heckington Showground grass arena, with the majority of the distance covered on local roads.

Entry Limit
Capped at 450 runners to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Finishers T-shirt
All finishers will receive an official event t shirt.
Please note that this event does not issue a finishers' medal.

Headphones policy
For safety reasons, the use of in ear or over ear headphones is not permitted during the race. Bone conduction headphones are permitted.

Chip timing will be provided by Sublime Timing.
