DESCRIPTION:
The fast and flat #ShelfordFunRun is a measured 5k course on closed roads through the villages of Great and Little Shelford near Cambridge. 

The UKA registered 5k race and 5k fun run & walk are both chip timed and will set off in two separate waves on the same course.

For serious runners it’s a great chance to register a personal best.

For beginners and family groups the event is perfect! You can walk or jog at your own pace, enjoying the villages car free and savouring the atmosphere.

Whatever your reason for taking part, you will enjoy a great day out and your participation will help support the work of Shelford Playscape and CamRARE!

To avoid a few other local events and to give everyone a little bit more time to get organised after the summer holidays (not least our committee!), we have moved to the last weekend in September.  Hopefully this will also mean we won’t have such meltingly hot temperatures to contend with this year!

We have sold out in the last two years, so don’t leave it too late!
