DESCRIPTION:
The fast and flat #ShelfordFunRun is a measured 5k course on closed roads through the villages of Great and Little Shelford near Cambridge.

The UKA registered 5k race and 5k fun run & walk are both chip timed and will set off in two separate waves on the same course.

For serious runners, the flat course is a great chance to register a personal best.

For beginners and family groups the event is perfect for jogging or walking at your own pace, enjoying the villages car free and savouring the atmosphere.

Whatever your reason for taking part, you will enjoy a great day out and your participation will help support the work of Shelford Playscape and CamRARE (Cambridge Rare Disease Network)!

And on that note, we’ve introduced a fundraiser discount this year for anyone gathering sponsorship to mark their achievement! You can opt to support one or both of our charities using the Give As You Live platform (please set your fundraising target to a minimum of £50). If you are fundraising as a family, or a group, you can select fundraiser tickets for each person in the group based on their age category, but if there are more than 2 people in the group, we ask that you set your target to a minimum of £100 (and please increase the target by an additional £50 for every 2 additional people in the group).

The event has sold out in the last two years, so don’t leave it too late to book!
